Attention, follow spoiler!
Thor 4: Love and Thunder finally hits theaters next week. The latest movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is packed with well-known characters. As well as Thor and Mighty Thor, we’ll see the Guardians of the Galaxy, not to mention the terrifying villain Gorr the Godslayer.
New Marvel blockbuster: No cameos from Jeff Goldblum and Peter Dinklage in Thor 4
As it turns out, however, we have to do without two figures. In an interview with Prensaescenario, Gorr actor Christian Bale reveals that he filmed scenes with Jeff Goldblum and Peter Dinklage. Goldblum was previously in the MCU as the grandmaster to see while Dinklage as Etiri appeared.
I was able to work with Peter Dinklage. However, that didn’t make it into the finished film. But at least I was able to shoot with him. He’s awesome. I also had a scene with Jeff Goldblum, but he didn’t make it into the finished film either. As you can see, there’s a lot of editing, even though it’s brilliant stuff.
Even though we won’t see the cameos in cinemas, Bale’s testimony reveals an interesting detail: Apparently both characters had scenes with Gorr, the film’s main villain. But since the scenes were filmed in any case, they might end up in the bonus material from Thor 4: Love and Thunder.

But we needn’t get our hopes up about another promising moment: Christian Bale’s big Gorr dance sequence was never filmed, the actor recently revealed. Still, he and director Taika Waititi toyed with the idea of the antagonists dancing to Kate Bush through the MCU allow.
Thor 4: Love and Thunder launches on July 6, 2022 in German cinemas.
