Liverpool took a step towards the Champions League finals when the British club knocked out Villarreal in the opening round of the Champions League by 2-0.

In the semi-finals of the Football Champions League, Liverpool knocked out Spain’s Villarreal 2-0. Liverpool dominated the game almost all the time. However, in the opening half, the English giant did not succeed in scoring against this season’s Champions League sensation club.
