The police were called to Storgatan in Tranås at 01:41 after reports of an assault. There, the police found two injured men who are in their 25s.
Several perpetrators allegedly abused the two men who were taken to hospital by ambulance.
– The incident is classified as serious assault, but there is no suspect in the case, says police spokesperson Dennis Johansson Strömberg.
On Saturday morning, the men had not yet been able to be questioned. Their injuries are unknown.
