Two people have been found with gunshot wounds in Sundbyberg north of Stockholm, according to the police.
The people with gunshot wounds have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
– There are two adult men who were found with serious injuries, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
– Both are being treated in hospital right now, she continues.
The shooting took place outside a restaurant.
There are bullet holes in the windows of the restaurant building.
There is a major operation underway at the site. The police have cordoned off the area, are searching for suspected perpetrators with a helicopter and dogs.
– We check and search vehicles, says Helena Boström Thomas.
A preliminary investigation into suspected attempted murder and serious weapons crime has been initiated by the police.
