The police were called to Rissne shortly after 10 p.m. Two people were found with gunshot wounds on the spot.
– There are two adult men who are now being treated in hospital. I understand that they are seriously injured, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
Great police effort
There has also been damage to a facade of a building.
– I came from the subway and saw that there is a large police operation. An area has been blocked off and no bus, person or car could pass, a witness told SVT’s reporter Alva Collin.
No arrests
The police have not yet arrested anyone, but have a dog patrol and a helicopter in the area. Cameras will be searched and interrogations will be held.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into suspected attempted murder and serious weapons offences.
