Two injured men have sought treatment at the emergency room in Kalmar during Friday evening.
The men are said to have stab or cut injuries and the police have been sent to the hospital.
– As soon as possible, we will question them, but it is unknown what has happened right now, says Richard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the police.
The men, who are in their 20s, drove into the hospital in a private car and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
– They are being cared for right now, says Richard Lundqvist.
The police do not know where the crime took place and no one has been arrested. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
