The men were arrested in mid-May on probable cause, suspected of attempted murder, aggravated weapons offense and drug offense after a shooting that took place in Skönsberg in Sundsvall on the first of April this year.
Both were then charged with the later criminal classifications and the older of the two also with unlawful threats, attempted extortion, drunk driving, minor drug offenses and illegal driving.
The duo is now sentenced on all charges, the younger to prison for two years and six months and the older to prison for three years and two months.
Threatened two women
The elderly man has, in connection with the shooting, threatened two women and also demanded a large sum of money from them. According to the verdict, the man was angry with the women after they told some other people where the man was, something that then allegedly led to a shooting at the address and that he got rid of, among other things, narcotics that were seized.
Both men’s DNA was found on an unlicensed gun found at the same address. In addition to the men’s DNA, there was also DNA from at least three other people on the weapon.
How the shooting happened is still unclear.
