On June 20, a man was murdered in a garage in Malmö. A child was sitting in the back seat.
On Friday, two men in their 30s were arrested during a raid in Malmö. Now the men are being detained by prosecutors on probable cause on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. This is stated in the Prosecutor’s Office’s press release.
It is not yet clear when the detention hearings will take place.
The murdered man was already known to the police and the sequence of events suggests a connection to gang conflict. A volley of shots was fired at the car where the man and the child were sitting. The man is said to have been shot dead at close range. The child survived unscathed.
