Two men in their 20s are charged with the attempted murder of four police officers in Östersund in August last year, the Prosecutor’s Office writes.
The incident occurred on August 12, when a police patrol that stopped a car in central Östersund was shot at.
No officer was physically injured, and the occupants of the car fled at high speed. One of those involved was arrested an hour or so after the incident and the other could be arrested the next day.
In addition to attempted murder, the men are also charged with serious sabotage against blue light activities and serious weapons offences.
