Godfried van Run, member of the Committee 4 and 5 May Baarn, has no idea what possessed the perpetrator or perpetrators, but he suspects that it was vandalism and not a targeted anti-Semitic action. “The signs are on a route that is often driven after going out in Baarn. So you can think of destructiveness or the wrong kind of fun, but we don’t know. The signs have not been found again.”
