The men were shot in a townhouse area near downtown Salem.
– At 00.38 we received an alarm and when we arrived at the scene, two people were found seriously injured. In connection with a townhouse property, the police patrols quickly found a man who had been hit by several shots. Another man with a gunshot wound was found inside the townhouse property, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
Witness statements
Both men have been taken to hospital.
– We have witness information from the area around the crime scene, but I cannot comment on exactly what observations those witnesses have made at the moment, says Ola Österling.
An area is cordoned off and police technicians will carry out a crime scene investigation.
No one has been arrested at this time.
