Two people have been hit on the E18 at the height of Vålberg in Karlstad municipality, writes SVT Värmland.

The car that hit the people must have overturned and the driver had to be cut out of the stuck car.
All three people have been taken to hospital by ambulance.

During Saturday, a man in his 50s was arrested at Arlanda, according to Aftonbladet’s information.
He is said to have landed at the airport with gold goods worth millions.
The man is suspected of serious money laundering, according to Aftonbladet’s information.
Aftonbladet has been in contact with the Stockholm police, who could not confirm the information.
There is a fire in a boat factory in Laxå.
The alarm came in shortly before 8:30 p.m. The caller had seen both a column of smoke and flames shooting from the roof.

Israeli operations in the occupied West Bank continued for the fourth day on Saturday.

Israel’s military has not given any details about what happened when the soldier was killed.

A pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been hit by a car on national highway 61 in the municipality of Kil in Värmland, which Nya Wermlands-Tidningen was the first to report on.

According to information, the speed of the car must have been high at the time of the collision.
The injured man was first taken to hospital in Karlstad.
– After that, it has been assessed that transport to the University Hospital in Örebro is needed.
The extent of the damage is unclear. There is currently no criminal suspicion.

Seven people died and a dozen were injured when a bus ran off the road east of Vicksburg in Mississippi in the United States.
The bus must have driven off a highway and overturned, writes CNN.
It is unclear what caused the accident.
37 people are currently being treated in hospital. Two siblings, six and 16 years old, are said to be among the dead, according to CNN.
The police will now investigate the accident.
Two people have been taken to hospital after a car and moped collided near Visby.
Both people were traveling on the moped, the police write on their website. None of them have life-threatening injuries.
The police have filed a report of negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm against the driver.

The white whale Hvaldimir is dead.

The United Nations and aid organizations have begun giving polio vaccines to children in central Gaza, Moussa Abed, an official at the Gaza health authorities, told AFP.
In mid-August, a 10-month-old baby was diagnosed with polio – the first case in 25 years – following reports that the virus had been found in sewage. Now the goal is to give all children up to the age of ten in Gaza double doses of vaccine.
The WHO says Israel has agreed to a three-day “humanitarian pause” in fighting in Gaza to allow aid workers to start vaccinations.
World Health Organization (WHO) emergencies chief Michael Ryan says 1.26 million doses of the vaccine have been delivered to Gaza, with 400,000 more doses on the way.
A Swedish man in his 40s who was attacked and assaulted in Notting Hill in London has died, reports Sky News.
The man, who worked as a chef in Dubai, was visiting London when he was attacked.
He was found unconscious with a head injury shortly after leaving a nearby restaurant.
The Swede had, among other things, worked with several well-known names such as Gordon Ramsey, Alain Ducasse and Marcus Wareing.
The police have previously stated that the Swede was in a restaurant when he was attacked.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the attack.
A woman was also stabbed in connection with the festival which was taking place in Notting Hill. She also died, reports Sky News.
A Norwegian man in his 60s has been missing in Älvdalen since Monday.
The police helicopter has now found the man’s yellow rubber canoe up and down Hånån. The man’s dogs, which he had with him in the canoe, have also been found.
“Mountain rescue was then started immediately and a group of mountain rescuers with search dogs and the police are on their way to the site, which is very inaccessible. A search will be launched to find the man alive if possible,” the police write on their website.
The last time anyone had contact with the man was Monday morning. He was then at Övre Hågåsjön and asked to be picked up later in Foskros, about two miles to the south.
The man’s relatives have been informed of the circumstances.

Customs officials in the border city of Edirne in Turkey have stopped tens of exotic animals from being smuggled out of the country to Greece, the Turkish news agency Anatolia reports.
The car that was stopped, with Greek license plates, was carrying three kangaroos, three alpacas and a mara in the back.
Inside the vehicle were 12 parrots and 23 flying squirrels.
All animals survived and are to be handed over to Turkey’s nature conservation authority.

The Sweden Democrats want Swedish police to be inspired by the non-profit organization Dumpen. That’s what party leader Jimmie Åkesson says, who wants the police to use the same methods as Dumpen to uncover adults who seek sex with children.
– We want the police to be given both the tools and the specific mission to work proactively against these crimes, says Jimmie Åkesson in his summer speech in Sölvesborg.
In the speech, Jimmie Åkesson raised an example from a recreation center in Örebro this summer where a girl is suspected of having been the victim of a sexual crime.
Among other things, the Sweden Democrats want criminal provocation to be allowed.
