Two people face 31 charges after St. Thomas police seized more than $30,000 in illicit drugs during a search in the southwest area of the city Wednesday morning, police said.

Drugs valued at about $32,500, including fentanyl, meth and cocaine, were seized, along with cash and an illegal switchblade, police said.
A 45-year-old faces 21 charges including 12 counts of failing to comply with a release order, seven counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
A 52-year-old faces 10 charges, including seven counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failing to comply with a release order, and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Both of the accused were remanded into custody.
