An explosion occurred shortly after 02:00 on Friday night in a residential area in Ritorp in Södertälje.
– We do not know what has caused the explosion which has caused damage to a building, but no one has been injured, says Helena Bostrom Thomas, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
A preliminary investigation has been launched into public danger of destruction.
Just half an hour later, at 02:33, another explosion occurred, this time inside a residence in Ritorp.
– There were people inside the residence who have now been evacuated and we are now working on the scene and trying to find out what has happened. I don’t know how extensive the damage is to the home, but no one is injured, says Helena Bostrom Thomas.
According to initial information, it is an object that has been thrown into the residence.
