TOP CHEF 2023. M6 broadcast the first episode of season 14 of Top Chef on March 1. Two candidates have left the adventure, but we should see them again next week.
[Mis à jour le 2 mars 2023 à 9h23] Top Chef signed its big comeback this Wednesday, March 1st. M6 viewers were able to discover the start of season 14. Big news this year: Hélène Darroze will not have a brigade this year and will take care of a parallel competition between eliminated candidates.
This first episode made it possible to discover the candidates of Top Chef 2023 and to follow the composition of the brigades. Paul Pairet will coach Léo, Victor, Jean and Jacques, while Glenn Viel will take care of César, Alexandre, Mathieu and Jérémie. Philippe Etchebest takes care of Danny, Carla, and Hugo. He will also have Sarika, winner of Objectif Top Chef, under his wing. Gaston and Albane, drafted on the last test, will try to integrate one of the brigades during the next episode.
Colorful profiles are already emerging in this season 14 of Top Chef, such as the two brothers Jacques and Mathieu, Albane, specialized in holistic cuisine, Jean and his humor, or Danny, the rapper chef. At the end of this episode, Bérangère and Miguel were eliminated. They will face each other next week in the second part in the parallel competition of Hélène Darroze.
Each season of Top Chef, Internet users and viewers designate their favorite candidates and those who are unfortunately a little less so. Top Chef is the Wednesday night TV show. Season 14 returns to M6 with the first episode broadcast on March 1, 2023. An episode will then be broadcast every Wednesday, from 9:10 p.m. on the sixth channel. It is also possible to find Top Chef in replay streaming the day after its broadcast on the 6play.fr site.

- Hugo Riboulet, 23, comes from Annecy-le-vieux
- Albane Auvray, 23, is from Paris.

- Alexandre Marchon, 35, lives in Paris. He won “A Nearly Perfect Dinner” in 2012.
- Carla Ferrari, 25, lives in Naples.
- Danny Khezzar, 26, comes from Ambilly.
- Miguel Garcia-Herrera, 27, lives in Lyon. He is a veteran of the foreign legion.
- Sarika Sor, 28, comes from Lille. Winner of Top Chef Objective.
- Bérangère Fagart, 33, comes from Pantin.
Since the creation of Top Chef, the show’s jury has evolved from season to season, with some chefs leaving the show to be replaced by new names from the French culinary scene. In 2023, the jurors of the previous season are back. Philippe Etchebest, Hélène Darroze, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel return. Note, however, that Hélène Darroze will have a very special role. There is no red brigade this year, but a secret parallel contest that will save a candidate for the quarter-finals.
Louise Bourrat is the latest winner of Top Chef. Hélène Darroze’s candidate faced Arnaud Delvenne in the final of season 16 on M6 on June 15, 2022. She won the hearts of the jury and Red Cross volunteers with 56.19% of the vote against the Belgian competitor who won 43.81% of the vote. Thanks to her victory, Louise from Top Chef won a check for 56,190 euros, which she intended to invest in her establishment. Indeed, the 26-year-old candidate at the time of her participation is the chef of her own restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal.
