An elderly couple has been found dead at an address in Åsele municipality, the police write on their website.
They were found on Friday evening, when the police were ordered to the scene.
A preliminary investigation into murder has been opened as the circumstances surrounding the deaths are unclear. The site is cordoned off and a technical investigation has been carried out.
