Two detained for amphetamine center in Malmö

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of conducting a drug center in a multi -family house in Malmö.
About 100 kilos of amphetamine worth SEK 20 million were found, according to data for TV4 News.
Both are well known by the police for serious drug crimes.

On behalf of the Drug Police, the intervention force was against an apartment in Malmö on Tuesday last week. The strike was preceded by a scouting effort.

When conducting the house search in the multi -family house, about 100 kilos of amphetamine was found in what is described as a drug center, according to information to TV4 News. The giant bracket is estimated to have a street value of approximately SEK 20 million.

Two men aged 35 and the age of 45 were arrested for extremely serious drug offenses. Now both are arrested on probable reasons, the higher degree of suspicion. According to documents from Malmö District Court, the men deny the crime.

Previously convicted of serious drug crime

None of the detainees are registered at the current address, but is a resident of other parts of southern Sweden. The two detainees are previously known by the police for, among other things, serious drug crimes and one of them is conditionally released from a longer prison sentence.

TV4 News reported last week that the police are fearing a violent scale in Malmö as the extensive drug seizure has led to a multi -million debt in the criminal environment, among other things.

Prosecutor Petra Asso leads the drug investigation. In an email to TV4 News, she writes:

“The preliminary investigation is at an initial stage and hence I cannot go into more details or give further comments at this time.”
