Another person has been found dead after a heavy house fire in Sorsele municipality.
At lunchtime, the police announced that a person had been found dead in connection with the house fire. Relatives of the person who is assumed to have been at the address and died are notified of what happened.
At 17:30 the police announced that another deceased person had been found. That person has not yet been identified either, but based on witness statements, the police have a probable identity of who the person is, and that person’s next of kin have been notified.
The police do not know how the fire in the villa started, and it is not yet known if more people were in the house.
A preliminary investigation into arson has been launched.
The police were alerted to the house fire in Sorsele municipality early Wednesday morning. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, the villa must have already been engulfed in flames.
