A man and a woman have died in a boat accident west of Strömstad. According to the police, it was a sailboat that took in water and sank.
The alarm about the accident, in the sea between Sweden and Norway west of Strömstad, came on Wednesday morning. After a major rescue operation was launched, two lifeless people were found in the water.
What caused the accident is still unclear, the police will now, among other things, investigate wreckage that has been salvaged.
