Two foreign climbers are stuck on a small plateau high up on a rock wall at the top of the mountain Stuorra Tjåhka, two kilometers east of Tärnaby, the police write on their website.
The men cannot move because of the risk of falling.
Both climbers have been stuck since 6 p.m. They are doing well and the police are rescuing them with alpine mountain rescuers and a police helicopter. The plan is to hoist the men up to the helicopter.
