Provincial police and officers from the St. Thomas Police Service searched a home on Wednesday, seizing suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and cannabis, police say.

Police also seized scales, cell phones, an imitation firearm and cash in the raid, Elgin OPP said in a statement on Friday.
Police did not release an estimate on the street value of the drugs seized. The approximate location of the home in St. Thomas was not released by police.
A 33-year-old from St. Thomas is charged with four counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, laundering proceeds of crime, possessing an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing a prohibited device contrary to a prohibition order and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. The 33-year-old is also charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling and cultivating more than four plants in a home.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and has since been remanded into custody, police said Friday.
