The accident happened at 16.45 on Wednesday afternoon.
– The road is completely closed and will be so for about an hour, says Martin Eriksson, the duty officer of the rescue service.
Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance. It is unclear what the injuries are.
– All in all, this is a serious accident. The collision was severe and the traffic at the scene is heavily affected, says police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson.
According to the police, both drivers will be body checked to investigate sobriety. The police have also started collecting witness information at the scene of the accident.
