Two major earthquakes occurred in Iran, one of Turkey’s border neighbors. In the statement made by the Tehran University Seismology Center, it was reported that the earthquakes occurred in Bandar Hemir city of Iran’s Hormuzgan province at 20:37 and 20:39 local time with 5.8 and 5.7 magnitudes. No loss of life or property has been reported so far in the earthquake, the depth of which is described as 10 to 9 kilometers.
