Säpo has arrested two people who are suspected of illegal intelligence activities.
One of them is suspected of gross illegal intelligence activities against Sweden and gross illegal intelligence activities against a foreign power, and the other of aiding and abetting.
The operation, which was carried out with the assistance of the Swedish Police Agency and the Armed Forces, took place in the Stockholm area, according to a press release from Säpo.
“The case has no connection to any other ongoing case that the Security Police has,” the press release states.
