Two people were arrested on Wednesday for aiding and abetting a murder in Vällingby on New Year’s Eve.
One person is arrested on probable cause and the other on reasonable suspicion.
It was just before 7pm on New Year’s Eve that a man in his 20s was shot to death outside McDonalds in Vällingby centre. A large police operation was launched involving dog patrols and helicopters, but as of Wednesday no suspect had been arrested.
“Due to pre-trial confidentiality, the police cannot comment on the persons or the investigation in more detail,” they write in a press release.
According to information, the man who was shot dead must have had a connection to gang crime.
