Police arrested and charged two people after an ATV was stolen from a rural Perth East property earlier this month.
Two people are charged with stealing a motor vehicle after an ATV was allegedly taken from a home in Perth East earlier this month, Perth County OPP say.
Police said officers received a report on April 4 that an ATV had allegedly been stolen from a home on Perth Line 72. Police said the ATV was reportedly loaded into another vehicle before being taken off the property. That vehicle was later reported to be at another home on Perth Road 128 in Perth East.
Upon arriving at that address, police reportedly found the vehicle with unattached license plates and the stolen ATV.
Police have charged a 50-year-old Kitchener man with theft of motor vehicle and possession of stolen property with a value less than $5,000. A 29-year-old Parry Sound man was also charged with theft of motor vehicle, possession of stolen property with a value less than $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
Both suspects were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Stratford court at a later date.
