Two men in their 30s are under arrest on suspicion of injuring two small children on a playground in Sandviken.
The police were alerted to the drama at 8.30pm last Saturday. There were many children in the playground and according to the police, two of them had been injured by some kind of air weapon or slingshot.
– It is about a very young child and a child of school age, says police spokesperson Pelle Vamstad.
The children were taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is not known, but according to the police, they have no life-threatening injuries.
Two men who were at the playground were arrested on suspicion of, among other things, assault, violation of the Weapons Act and causing danger to others. They were later arrested by prosecutors.
