The men were arrested at half past eleven on Saturday morning.
– Two men, one in their 30s and one in their 20s, were arrested at Arlanda terminal five, says police spokesperson Anna Westberg.
The arrested men were accompanied to the police station for questioning. In connection with that, a large amount of cash as well as jewelry and watches must have been seized.
The men are suspected of serious money laundering.
– The combined value of the seized cash and valuables is judged to at least exceed the limit for serious money laundering, which is around SEK 270,000, says Anna Westberg.
The arrest is the third at Arlanda in a short time. Last Friday, a man with large amounts of cash on him was arrested by customs personnel, and on Sunday, a man was arrested who had gold bars worth SEK 1.7 million in his bag.
