The two people who were arrested on Gjörwellsgatan in Stockholm last Friday, after the police found a suspected dangerous object in a car, have been detained, Dagens Nyheter reports.
The persons, one of whom is stated to be a man in his 20s, are suspected of preparation for gross public destruction and gross violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
The object was discovered when the police, for as yet unknown reasons, stopped the car. As a safety measure, the area was cordoned off for several hours until the object was removed. One property was evacuated while the residents of another property were asked to stay indoors.
