Two are sentenced for failed explosion in Linköping

It was on September 24 that the men, aged 22 and 28 from the Stockholm area, placed a pot bomb with dynamite at a property in the Linköping district of Ekholmen. But the planned act was interrupted when a security guard drove by in the area.

In addition to witness statements, the men were also caught on one of the police’s surveillance cameras. The pot bomb is believed to have been passed on and then detonated at the same location by other people two days later.

The targets of the blast were the relatives of former Foxtrot top Mustafa “Benzema” Aljiburi who was shot dead in Iraq earlier this year.
