Pigs at a Skåne slaughterhouse were subjected to serious and repeated crimes. Two men are now sentenced to suspended sentences and daily fines by the Ystad district court, which concluded that 18 animals suffered during slaughter in a way that can be judged as animal cruelty.
The animal cruelty was secretly filmed by the Djurrättsalliansen and parts of the material were published by TV4. Later, 140 hours of film material was handed over to the county administrative board.
