The US Department of Justice is accusing two businessmen of trying to hide Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg’s ownership of the luxury yacht Tango.

The boat was seized in Spain last year. Now an arrest warrant has been issued by American authorities for the Russian-Swiss Vladimir Osipov. The other, Briton Richard Masters, has been arrested in Spain at the request of the United States.

The United States issued sanctions against Vekselberg in 2018. The two men are accused of helping Vekselberg to hide that he owns Tango, including through complicated company arrangements. Among the crimes they are suspected of are money laundering and sanctions violations.
