An outage affects Twitter this Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The social network is not completely usable.
After Google, it’s Twitter’s turn to experience bugs. This Wednesday, March 1, 2023, several messages report a breakdown on the social network now run by Elon Musk. The whole service is not completely “down” but Internet users are reporting difficulties on the platform’s main news feed. Only a “Welcome to Twitter!” is displayed and no tweets appear. On the other hand, it is still possible to search the social network and trends continue to appear on user accounts, which are clickable as normal. In addition, the ancillary service Tweetdeck continues to display tweets but does not display the latest publications. For now, Twitter has not indicated the origin of this bug.
The Twitter outage is global
The blackout affecting Twitter does not only concern France, but the whole world, as evidenced by the many… tweets published on the subject. They come from France, on the one hand, but also from the United States or the United Kingdom. Downdetector, the site that lists error reports on websites, has more than 3,000 messages at midday signifying problems on the social network. More info to follow…
