Twitter-Musk, Delaware court sets trial to start in October

Twitter replies to Musk we will continue to share information

(Finance) – The Delaware Court of Chancery established the relatively short timeframe for the prosecution against Elon Musk due to the failure to launch the offer for the acquisition of Twitter. The US court upheld the company’s request and set the trial for October.

This is definitely a point in favor of Twitter in the preliminary skirmishes on the battle judicial that is opening. The Financial Times recalled that the social media’s lawyers had accused Musk of trying to “sabotage” the company and that the passage of time in the‘uncertainty would have created more damage.

The lawyers instead of Musk were asking to open the trial no earlier than February. In the afternoon exchanges on the Nasdaq Twitter it was up 3.76% to 39.85 dollars.
