The social media platform Twitter limits the number of posts that accounts can read per day, writes Twitter owner Elon Musk in a post.
Unverified accounts can now read a maximum of 800 posts per day, while verified accounts can read a maximum of 8,000 posts per day. For new, unverified accounts, the limit is set to a maximum of 600 posts per day.
Musk further writes that the new rules are temporary, and that they have been introduced to counter “extreme levels of data collection and system manipulation”.
