Chefstrobel is a streamer on Twitch and has uploaded an emotional YouTube video in which he tells how much the hate weighs on him. You can find out more about this on MeinMMO.
Who is Chefstrobel?
What is he saying in the video? Chefstrobel uploaded a new video on August 16 at 4:00 am. In this video Chefstrobel tells openly how the constant hate burdens him. The streamer explains that he strives to show his good sides and encourage positive interactions. But often the negative comments on social media outweigh the negative.
You can see Chefstrobel’s video here:
“I don’t think I’ll get rid of my sidekick image anymore”
He reflects on how short clips are taken out of context and falsely convey a negative image of him. “I know that I can be disgusting sometimes – for example because of my rages in Valorant,” emphasizes Chefstrobel. “I think a lot of people have the wrong image of me,” he says in his YouTube video.
Back then, Chefstrobel was mainly known for the big streamer Trymacs. He hasn’t done much with Trymacs in recent years, although he is still referred to as a “sidekick” of his and is mocked.
There has been an increase in negative comments and clips over the last few months that paint him in a bad light. Many people seem to have prejudices against him. This has led to the flood of hateful comments, which is taking an emotional toll on him.
“Clips are made that are taken out of context”
It has become a running gag that streamer Trymacs, for example, makes fun of Chefstrobel. In this Compliation video by Satter Hugo, for example, Trymacs says: “I’m not kidding, that’s the most beautiful monkey I’ve ever seen – even before Chefstrobel.”
That’s just one example that Chefstrobel didn’t mention in his YouTube video. Chefstrobel says the following about the jokes made at his expense:
There are people who unfortunately hate me on principle or jump on a bandwagon just because it’s funny to hate Chefstrobel[…]. Fellow streamers react to things and make jokes, and some jokes are very funny too. But when a lot of big streamers make jokes about you, people take it as super full. […]
I think it’s a pity that my name is then made so bad in this context and I get such blatant hate, even for banal statements – for which I often apologized.
Chef Strobel
The streamer concludes by wanting viewers to consider that no one is perfect and that everyone has rough edges. He encourages people to form a differentiated opinion and not to be guided by clips that have been taken out of context. He hopes those who have had the wrong image of him will give him a fair chance.
