New Zealander Quintin “Quin69” Crawford is an excellent player of hack’n’slays like Diablo 4 or Path of Exile. He is considered a leading expert. But Quin69 also has a tendency to get himself into serious trouble on Twitch again and again.
What kind of guy is this?
Streamer sings along loudly to the wrong song – censors himself, but the wrong word
What did he do? As Spotskeeda reports, Quin69 came online on Twitch and played Path of Exile while apparently drunk.
He was listening to a song by 50 Cent and singing along loudly. At one point he mumbled the “N-word,” a racist insult against black people that is strictly forbidden on Twitch, as MontanaBlack knows.
Quin69 immediately realized what he had said, jumped up and claimed that he had been so careful to avoid the homophobic “F-word” that he had forgotten to censor the N-word. That was his mistake. He had directly quoted the song he had been listening to.
He assures the empty room: He has only just woken up, he has only just woken up.
You can watch a clip of the situation here (via livestreamfails). The clip on Twitch has since been deleted.
What is the F-word? “The F-word” is less well known in German. It is the English word “faggot,” which in German would probably be translated as “faggot.”
Both the N-word and the F-word are banned on Twitch and will usually result in a ban if used with hateful intent.
“Banned 3 days after launch of best league – Classic”
How is this discussed? In this situation, it is clear that Quin69 did not mean to make any kind of racist statement, so the whole situation is discussed in a rather amusing manner. Along the lines of “Of course something like this will happen to him again.”
The comments on reddit are something like:
The whole thing seems so strange because you couldn’t hear the song on the stream for copyright reasons. Quin69 just seems to mumble the N-word out of nowhere:
It is currently unclear whether Twitch will really ban Quin69 – in any case, his viewers are once again having fun at his expense.
In 2022, Quin69 made a name for himself because he wanted to prove to everyone how greedy Blizzard was with Diablo Immortal. To do this, the New Zealander spent a lot of money and pulled off a spectacular stunt: Twitch streamer shoots €15,000 into Diablo Immortal, finds miracle item, permanently deletes character
