The well-known Twitch streamer Papaplatte was contacted by the Make-A-Wish organization and fulfilled a seriously ill fan’s heartfelt wish. In one of his last live streams he talks about this moving day.
Who is Papaplatte? Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller, 27 years old, is one of the best-known German streamers and content creators in the gaming sector. His authentic and humorous style has won him a loyal fan base on platforms such as Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.
This year he reached another milestone by breaking his own viewership records on the streamer event r/Place, garnering over 100,000 concurrent viewers.

In a previous event, Papaplatte teamed up with his community on Twitch to take part in a treasure hunt for 1 million euros organized by moderators Joko and Klaas. Live on Twitch, he puzzled together with his community and the result was that one of his viewers is now in possession of a considerable fortune.
Now Papaplatte has been contacted by the Make-A-Wish organization to fulfill the heartfelt wish of a sick fan.
“He could wish for anything, but he chose you.”
What did the viewer want? In the stream, he initially didn’t reveal why he was in Phantasialand, but only said that there was a special person who was the reason for it. As the chat jokingly speculated whether it was Merkel or Obama, he finally revealed the secret. The streamer had received an invitation from Make-A-Wish, which he spontaneously accepted.
The organization is committed to fulfilling the heartfelt wishes of seriously ill children and young people in order to give them joy, hope and strength. Papaplatte reported this about the sick viewer, who is only 17 years old.
Despite the curiosity of the chat, Papaplatte initially didn’t want to go into detail. He emphasized that this day should be all about the special person as it was their wish to spend a day with him.
However, he revealed at least a few small situations from this special day. The young fan apparently knew all the details from Kevin’s streams and was overjoyed to not only spend time with his idol, but also with his friends.
When Papaplatte shared these touching moments on stream, a chat comment pointed out: “You have to imagine he could wish for anything, but he chose you. Of course he knows everything about you.”
When asked in the chat whether he had done this for free, Kevin initially joked about a “big paycheck”. However, he later revealed that he did the action out of conviction and without any financial interest, seeing it as a “cool” gesture.
How was Kevin that day? However, in the next section, Papaplatte reported that he was not feeling well that day. With only five hours of sleep, he used the Phantasialand cards, which allowed him to visit certain attractions without waiting. However, he continued to feel unwell afterwards.
Nevertheless, his discomfort gave him the opportunity to sit down and chat with the sick spectator in peace. Details about the fan’s illness were not explained in more detail.
