Twitch streamer falls in love with her German mod – flies around the world to meet him

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The Australian streamer Jess “jessticles” actually mainly shows horror games on Twitch. But now she shared a sweet story with her viewers: she fell in love with her mod and traveled the world to meet him.

This is jessticles: With almost 1,500 followers, Jess is one of the rather small streamers on Twitch. On average, 35 people watch her play horror games or read anonymous confessions.

Moderators, in short: mods, are actually used on Twitch to ensure law and order in the chat. But you can also help organize events or giveaways. In this case, however, a special relationship developed between the streamer and her moderator.

This sugar-sweet clip also shows that beautiful moments can also happen on Twitch:

Streamer meets up with her mod: “It was like the Shrek movie”

This is the story of the two: In order to be able to be with her moderator, the Australian Jess flew around the world to Germany. The flight lasted more than 30 hours.

This is how the story got known: On October 25, Jess shared a photo with her followers on Twitter. It shows her having a romantic moment at the airport. The streamer wrote: “Accidentally fell in love with my Twitch mod.”

Jess tagged the photo with the probably tongue-in-cheek hashtag #TwitchIsADatingSite. Otherwise, viewers who are apparently hoping for a closer relationship with their favorite streamers are often told that Twitch is not a dating platform.

How did the first meeting go? Shortly thereafter, Jess went live with her presenter and spoke about their relationship. For her, it’s a real roller coaster of emotions, according to the streamer. She has never experienced anything comparable and never will.

Her new partner, Yannik, also agrees: “I had about 300 emotions in 2 minutes.”

The first meeting Jess compared of all things to a scene from the cult franchise Shrek. In the film, the green ogre is temporarily transformed into a human. However, it is still recognizable that it is Shrek, according to Jess, just as a human.

That’s exactly how it was when she first met Yannik in real life. Apparently he doesn’t really know what to think of the Shrek comparison.

And otherwise the communication between the Australian and Yannik, who lives in Germany, seems to work great, as you can see in this clip in English.

This is how it should go with the two: Jess plans to reside in Germany for the remainder of 2022. During this time, she wants to stream regularly with her boyfriend.

The streamer’s love story goes around the world

As Jess enjoyed the time with her new partner, the sweet story of the two spread. In the comments below her tweet, a Twitch colleague shared a similar experience: His fiancée was also his presenter, then she traveled to him in the UK from Florida:
