Which build for Ivern is particularly strong? Twitch streamer and Ivern enthusiast Jamican Banana has developed a strategy to quickly climb the rankings in League of Legends: using the Dawncore item.
What can Dawncore do? Dawncore, a new support item in the Rift introduced in Season 14, provides 40 ability power, 20 ability haste, and 150% base mana regeneration, as well as a unique passive ability called Daybreak. This passive grants 3% healing and shield power and 5 ability power per 100% of base mana regeneration.

By stacking different mana regeneration items throughout a match, Ivern can use this unique passive to generate massive shields and healing for his team members. Accordingly, in addition to Ionian Boots, he built core items: Dawncore, Redemption and Moonstone.
Jamican Banana shared his game progress on X as he reached the Challenger rank and made it into the top 50 players on the North American server. Later he even managed to fight his way up to number 1 in the rankings, although he couldn’t hold this position for long.
