In spring 2023, Twitch banned streamer “Real_Bazzi,” aka “Bazzi.” The ban was supposed to be permanent, but a year and a half later, he’s back – thanks to support.
Which streamer are you talking about? Bazzi is a German streamer who built his career with role-playing in GTA 5. In 2023, however, he suddenly started showing gambling – Twitch pulled out the ban hammer:
However, in June 2024, Bazzi made his return to Twitch.
The slots gambling category was huge on Twitch for a while. Even the biggest streamer at the time, xQc, showed the so-called “casino streams”:

Why is the streamer allowed to return? Bazzi apparently owes his surprising return to a court ruling. His casino buddy Scurrows celebrated his comeback on X, formerly Twitter: Bazzi is certainly happy to have lawyer Nik Sarafi, says Scurrows.
The opinion blogger KuchenTV had previously sued back on Twitch with the help of this lawyer.
How is he doing so far? Bazzi held his comeback stream on June 3, 2024, in front of an average of 3,772 viewers – not a bad result considering how long the streamer had been off the scene.
In fact, Bazzi even had more viewers than before the ban with his last streams without gambling (via SullyGnome). But Bazzi doesn’t seem to fully trust the peace yet, because he keeps joking in his streams about when the next ban will come.
An old acquaintance also dropped by during the comeback stream: MonatanaBlack donated 100 subs, which made Bazzi shed a few tears of joy:
On Twitch, Bazzi has so far remained well-behaved and restricted himself exclusively to the safe category “Just Chatting”. In addition to his activity on the purple platform, the streamer wants to continue offering daily streams on Kick – including gambling.
However, the joy over Bazzi being unbanned is clearly limited among non-fans, as can be seen from the comments under Scurrows’ post on X. This should come as no surprise, however, as the streamer was already receiving schadenfreude for the ban: German casino streamer receives schadenfreude after being banned on Twitch: “I’m not a bad person”
