Twitch streamer Amouranth had ordered food that didn’t arrive. With the help of her surveillance camera, she found out what happened.
The UberEats driver was supposed to bring the streamer her food. Delivery was confirmed on the app, but Amouranth hadn’t received anything.
She then looked at the video from her surveillance camera. This shows the delivery person putting the food out front and taking a photo to confirm delivery. A car is parked behind him, a few steps away. “Come on,” someone yells from the car, whereupon the delivery man grabs the bags of food and runs away.
Who is Amouranth? Her real name is Kaitlyn Siragusa. She is considered the biggest streamer on Twitch, where she has 6.4 million followers and makes her money with explicit content. The streamer also runs a channel on OnlyFans. The fortune of the 29-year-old is estimated at several million.
Amouranth shared the video publicly on Twitter
Apparently furious at the theft, Amouranth shared the surveillance video on her Twitter account. “Yo UberEats, why are your suppliers stealing my order after taking the picture?” she wrote.
She also explains that a sign on her door informs people that they are being filmed. According to her, they even announced their action verbally – she probably means the calls from the parked car.
How did the delivery service react? The response from the Twitter account Uber_Support came relatively quickly as the tweet received a lot of attention. “Hey Amouranth – We are so sorry! This is definitely not okay. Could you DM us your account info? We want to fix this,” they write.
The further course of the conversation cannot be read publicly, as it probably took place via DM. We do not know how UberEats has now compensated the millionaire and what consequences the supplier may face.
