Twitch bans its biggest streamer – She actually wanted to be good Twitch bans its biggest streamer

With over 6 million followers, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa (29) is one of the most successful streamers on Twitch. Now she was surprisingly banned, the reasons are unclear, but could be related to current conflicts.

Why was Amouranth banned? That is unclear so far. She’s already received six bans on Twitch (via Streamerbans), each lasting no more than a few days. A call to their high-reach channel shows the well-known message after bans on the platform:

“This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of the Twitch Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”

Ban came days after her last stream

What is surprising about Amouranth’s spell? She last streamed on May 1st, the ban only came three days later. It is speculated that her suggestion to Adriana Chechik to settle the dispute in a boxing match could have caused this. Chechik has previously publicly slandered her streaming colleague.

Twitch’s Community Guidelines state that expressing violence or threats of violence could result in a ban.

Up until now, Amouranth has been best known for her bikini streams and ASMR content on Twitch. But she also has a wide reach on OnlyFans and Twitter.

What is your reach on social media?

In the past, Amouranth has been careful with its content while constantly pushing the boundaries. So she showed herself scantily clad and exposed herself several times, apparently without registering this.

In October 2022 there were revelations in a live stream. She reported, crying, that she was married, but her husband forbade her to reveal it. Her marriage is toxic, her husband blackmails and controls her. He forces you to stream excessively and threatens you.

How did this affect Amouranth? After their separation, she was happy to be able to organize her streams and her free time according to her ideas. She made plans to sleep in longer and stream gaming.

Among other things, Amouranth has streamed in these categories:

  • ASMR – 10,000 hours
  • Just Chatting – 7,000 hours
  • Pools, hot tubs – 2,800 hours
  • Just Dance – 312 hours
  • Mario Kart 8 – 188 hours
  • Amouranth planned content changes

Older clips of the streamer show that while she was broadcasting gaming content, she was still in her pool. As a result, she streamed two categories at the same time, but only one was listed.

But this was not the only planned change. Most recently, the successful streamer thought about refreshing the content again. She revealed that she’s in talks with OnlyFans about “family-friendly” content for an offshoot of the platform.

How did Amouranth react to the ban? So far not at all. There was no comment on the Twitch ban on any of their public social media platforms. Her last tweet went online after the ban, showing a photo of the streamer. Above the photo, she asks, “Hey?”.

Twitch competitor Kick responded with a “heyy.” A Twitter user comments: “I see what you are doing here”. On Kick, streamers show the content that has now been banned on Twitch.
