– The summer is high season for serious traffic accidents in this country, and it gives an extra cause for concern when the beginning of the summer has been as tragic as it has been now, says Cecilie Bryner at Trygg Trafikk.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Norway’s equivalent to the Swedish Transport Administration, had an emergency meeting this week due to the high death rates. The authority is now considering adjusting the speed limits and increasing the use of speed cameras.
