The tram is predicted to travel west towards the South China Sea.

In the Philippines, at least 14 people have died as a result of the Trami storm, officials said on Wednesday. Most of the victims died in the city of Naga in the central parts of the country.

Early on Thursday, Finnish time, the storm made landfall on Luzon, the largest and most populous island in the Philippines, where schools and administrative buildings have had to be closed.

At their strongest, the storm winds have blown in gusts of 160 kilometers per hour. The tram is predicted to head west towards the South China Sea next.

The Philippines has an average of twenty tropical storms every year, which cause heavy rains, strong winds and landslides.
