In the autumn program “The Traitors”, participants gather in a castle to play a psychological game. The participants have a common goal – to win half a million kroner. However, not everyone can be trusted.
18, people unknown to each other, will be tested in different ways in TV4’s new television program. Actor Drago Mrsic will be the game director and guide the participants through advanced and difficult challenges. The game director tells us that he has an attraction to the “crime thing” and that the mission therefore suits him well.
On the first evening at the castle, the participants gather at the round table, which will be the heart of the game. They each get a mask and blindfold.
– I take a few laps around the table and if I put a hand on your shoulder then you belong to the traitors. Their task is to lie, backstab, get close to you – but above all to murder a faithful person every night, says Drago Mrsic.
“Looking forward to the screenings”
The 18 participants die quickly, namely two people smoke per day. The goal of the game is for the faithful to figure out who or who are the traitors. Each night they have the option of banishing a contestant they suspect is a traitor.
– I look forward to the deportations and to see how they act when they are caught, he says.
The participants are handpicked for several reasons, including because they are good at lying, which you have to be in order to cope with the game, says Drago Mrsic.
– It is open to argument and discussion. This is guaranteed to get infected, he says.
