Now the outdoor season really begins with the Walpurgis celebrations on Sunday evening, and May Day activities tomorrow. Many have been longing for the entrance of spring weather, and it seems that Walborg evening brings happy news.
– It will be a relatively clear and, in many places, sunny end to this Walborg Fair evening, says TV4’s meteorologist Lovisa Svanberg.
After a sunny morning in several places in the country, some cumulus clouds have appeared during the morning. In the southern parts of the country, last year’s grass is dry, and locally there is a high risk of grass fires.
– If you are going to light the grill or a bonfire, you have to be a little careful so that it doesn’t spread, says Lovisa Svanberg.
When the cumulus clouds have moved past, we can once again expect sunshine – pretty much all over the country.
– It can get a little cold, but then you just have to put on a jacket.
Rain on May Day
During Monday, rain moves in over large parts of the country.
– Then I would recommend an umbrella. But in the farthest south, in Skåne, it will be sunny and around 10-13 degrees, says Lovisa Svanberg.
