TV4 review: Here are the anonymous accounts that SD controls – called “troll factory” internally

A reporter at Kalla fakta worked for several months at the Sweden Democrats’ communications department, where he, among other things, recorded conversations with a hidden camera.

The recordings show, among other things, how three employees in the communications department manage anonymous accounts in social media. In total, Kalla fakta has identified 23 accounts in social media that are to be controlled by the Sweden Democrats without it being apparent.

Edited by Magdalena Andersson

These are accounts on Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram and Facebook, in total they had around 260,000 followers. Some of the accounts singled out are Politically incorrect, @magdalenaanderssonharfel and @sverjedemokraterna.

In one of the posts shown in the program, the leader of the Social Democrats, Magdalena Andersson, has been cut to give the impression that she is talking about “destroying Sweden”.

On another account pointed out by Kalla fakta, there is a video where Sweden Democrats party leader Jimmie Åkesson rides in a combat vehicle that fires shots in the Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby.

Called “troll factory” in recording

In one of the hidden recordings, the business is referred to as a “troll factory” by an employee.

– What is your name? So… the social media accounts simply? asks Kalla fakta’s reporter.

– Trollfabrik, SD’s employee replies.

After the Sweden Democrats became aware of the review, several accounts must have been removed.

Last week’s episode of the review was about how the reporter infiltrated the media channel Riks and about the ties between them and the Sweden Democrats’ communications department.

The Sweden Democrats have commented on the first episode, but according to Kalla fakta, have declined to comment on the latest. During the day, SVT is looking for the Sweden Democrats for a comment.
