TV4 profiler Olof Lundh’s unexpected criticism after the TV brawl – points out the big scapegoat: “He loses control”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Janne Andersson and Bojan Djordjic had a good time together after Sweden’s European Championship qualifying win.
Now Olof Lundh points out an unexpected scapegoat.
– He loses control, says the TV4 profile.

Sweden won with a clear 5-0 against Azerbaijan in the European Championship qualifiers, but afterwards the whole of football Sweden is talking about something completely different. After the studio, the confederation captain Janne Andersson smoked together with the expert Bojan Djordjic, and it all ended with a tumultuous verbal argument that caused Andersson to leave the studio.

Pointing out the scapegoat

In retrospect, the criticism of Janne Andersson’s behavior has at times been massive, and on social media many have raged against the way he answered Djordjic’s questions. The argument began with Bojan asking how it is that Jesper Karlsson, who has shown great form in the club team AZ, was only allowed to play a total of eight minutes during the matches against Belgium and Azerbaijan. Then it derailed.

– It was tumultuous, one must say, says TV4 profiler Olof Lundh in the podcast Fotbollskanalen on tour.

Olof Lundh is one of TV4’s most high-profile and meritorious journalists and reporters, but he cannot remember being part of anything similar in Swedish football. He also believes that there was a scapegoat in the live fight.

– I should remember that, and I don’t remember that it was that way, here you can still say that the presenter Niklas Jihde loses control, and they stood and butted heads for so long. I don’t think that has happened on live television, as far as I remember, and where everything ends with Janne leaving, he says.

“Has cut himself”

Olof Lundh also believes that initially there was neither a too negative nor a bad tone on the part of the expert.

– The basis is just, where Djordjic begins by saying about Jesper Karlsson’s eight minutes. He also says that he doesn’t want to be too negative. And then it just derails.

Olof Lundh also highlights the fact that Janne Andersson is perceived as pressured and a bit grumpy from the moment he entered Viaplay’s studio, something that many missed, as it is only the fight with Djordjic that circulated on social media.

– The only sad thing about this is that the short clip will be included. We looked through from the beginning, from Janne entering the studio, and where Jihde welcomes him. Janne is a bit stingy already there and starts by saying that he has actually won five of the last six matches, and draws in practice matches. And even there you feel that they are on a collision course. The feeling is that there has been a rift between Janne Andersson and Viaplay, and a lot because things have gone so badly for Janne in the past year.
