TV+ increased the number of users by 16 percent by using the Yandex Navi application for its portable Android player TV+ PRO.

In line with the goal of increasing the number of subscribers in Turkey, the TV+ PRO team strengthened brand visibility by focusing on Yandex Navi advertisements. Emphasizing that they managed to increase the number of weekly active users of TV+ PRO by 16 percent in two weeks, Yandex Ads Turkey Agency Partnerships Manager Hazmi Emre Aytekin said, “We significantly increased the visibility of the product by effectively conveying the brand’s message with banners and digital billboards.”

TV+ PRO, which enables viewers to carry their favorite channels, movies and TV series wherever they want with just an internet connection, launched the Yandex Navi campaign to highlight the portability of the product. Emre Aytekin said, “Due to the holiday season in Turkey, we expected heavy vehicle traffic and an increase in Yandex Navi usage. This technology platform, which is frequently used by our target audience, offers unique visibility. Yandex Navi is one of the most suitable advertising channels to showcase the features of the TV+ PRO product. We started our campaign by adapting TV+’s existing advertising materials to Yandex. “We also benefited from different advertising areas within the scope of the same campaign.”

Mentioning that banners can be seen in two different scenarios in Geographic Services, Navi Account Manager Elvira Çetinkaya said, “The driver can see the banner when the vehicle’s speed is zero, that is, when it stops at a red light or in heavy traffic and while the route is being created. When you click on the banner, the details of the ad are displayed. This format maximizes audience coverage by improving brand metrics. In Geographic Services, the billboard appears on the map while driving and shows the details of the advertisement when the user clicks on it. This format made significant contributions to increasing brand awareness. “These tools played a major role in increasing visibility and reaching our messages to the user,” he said.

When we compared the period when we started advertising with the previous periods, we determined that the increase in the usage rate was 16 percent higher than the previous weeks.
